DIN-rail mounted modular controller for operating stepper motor driven gantries and robots with digital I/O capability, programmed via CPRog software on Windows.
The Commonplace Robotics DIN-Rail Robot Controller is a modular control system designed to operate stepper motors and digital inputs and outputs for gantry and robot kinematics.
Measuring 600x200x125 mm, the controller uses a DIN-rail form factor that simplifies installation and allows straightforward servicing of individual modules.
The system operates in conjunction with CPRog software for Windows 7/10, which generates joint commands and transmits them to the electronic modules through a USB-to-CAN adapter.
CPRog provides a 3D user interface for robot programming and supports both real-world operation and simulation testing.
Programs can incorporate joint moves, linear moves, digital output commands, loops, and conditional if-then-else logic.
Additional components such as computer vision systems can be integrated through plugins.
The controller features 1/256 microstepping for smooth motion control.
DIN-rail modules connect via an integrated bus system.
Source code and ROS packages are provided with the system.
Operation requires a 24V power supply and a Windows PC.
The controller ships without cables or assembly.
